Reason

At first, I just want to finish Raison d'Etre project. The main focus on that project is the relationship of Allen and Lenalee. I had no intention to make a large portion for them as separate individuals.

But then I realized that there's a lot of things I want to say about Lenalee, and since she's my favourite heroine from the series, I think making a tribute to her would not be a bad idea. She's a great person, yet she is the one who gets bashed the most. Damn crazy jealous fangirls. I have an urge to defend her in any way, even in the slightest bit. I'm much more determined after making the first layout. And I even kept this project a secret from my friends. 8D Who, anyway, would expect that loser Ren would actually make a fansite, like, for real?! Ahaha.

What's in a name?

The name Skydancer pops out in my mind even before I plan to make a shrine for Lenalee. I think it happened when Lenalee's all new-and-improved Innocence makes the debut on the recent manga chapters. How happy I was, to think that I'll see Lenalee kicking some arses again! Then I imagined (yes, I'm a fanartist) her flying and dancing in the sky–yes, that's where skydancer comes from.
